At 36° Brokers, we’ve had boots on the ground here for years. Eric, our guy in Tahiti, is a familiar face to many in the cruising fleet. Whether you're after tips on a good haul-out yard, wondering about selling locally, or just need someone who knows the marina office by name - he’s your man. Fluent in French and English, friendly as, and always happy to help.
So if you’re swinging through and want to chat about your next steps, be it continuing the adventure or handing over the helm.. flick us a message. We’re here to make it easy, no matter which way the wind’s blowing.
Planning to sell in French Polynesia or Fiji? We can connect you with the right people, help you prepare your boat, and guide you through the process, from listing through to handover. Whether you're heading home or simply ready for your next chapter, we’re here to make it easy.
BUYING WHILE CRUISING
Already out here living the dream and thinking about a new boat to match? Whether you're upgrading, downsizing, or looking for something offshore-ready, we can help. From fair valuations to sea trials and paperwork, our team knows how to get deals done in the islands.
PARTNERED IN PARADISE
With offices in Tahiti and across New Zealand, we work closely with the cruising community throughout the South Pacific. That means local knowledge, trusted marine contacts, and support you can actually reach when you need it.
HERE TO HELP
Just want to chat through your options or find out what’s possible? No pressure, no strings. We’re always keen for a coffee, a catch-up, or a look aboard if you're anchored nearby.
Huahine has a way of slowing you down. You arrive planning to stay two days… and a week later, you’re still swimming, biking, and picking up fruit from the side of the road.
Tucked just 90 miles from Tahiti, this lush and quiet gem offers cruisers a welcome break from busy anchorages. The lagoons are crystal clear, the locals wave as you walk by, and the pace of life pulls you into island time - fast.
There’s no pressure to go anywhere, and that’s exactly why you’ll love it.
THE ISLAND THAT MAKES YOU STAY!
ANCHORING
Avea Bay on the south-west coast is calm, protected, and postcard-perfect. The sand bottom holds well. Easy dinghy access to the beach and nearby pension.
PROVISIONING
Head into Fare for fresh baguettes, produce, and cold Hinanos. There’s a small but well-stocked supermarket (Super U) near the dinghy dock. Don’t miss the roulottes (food trucks) on the waterfront at night.
GETTING AROUND
Rent bikes or scooters for a full island loop. Highlights include ancient marae sites, vanilla farms, and a lazy lunch stop at Relais Mahana.
